Vivekananda Educational Society

The aim of all education undoubtedly is the attainment of human excellence perfection and divinity, not just in the field of knowledge or activity, but life in totality. Our school plays a major role in moulding the ideal habits and attitudes of children with a view to produce well balanced personalities; physically strong, mentally alert, emotionally stable, culturally sound, and ethically upright. In short education is for life and living.

"School should not be regarded as prison home where the students are confined for 5 hours every day. In fact, school is a Brindavan, a place of recreation where healthy activity is to be carried out in a congenial atmosphere." states Shri Balakrishna Joshi.

Mission of Swami Vivekananda

Having this perspective in mind a group of service minded people founded the Vivekananda Educational Society in the year 1972 with a mission to fulfil – the mission of Swami Vivekananda to build Bharath.

The present education system has overemphasized the cultivation of the intellect. Only Swami Vivekananda strongly recommended and expected that the education systems would be suitably designed to produce wholesome human beings. Our Education system centres on the six main ideals which promote all-round development in a child.
